Merry Christmas
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manager." (Luke 2: 8-12)

We pray you and your family have a blessed Christmas and New Year! We celebrate Christmas because the Savior of the world has come! He suffered and died for you and me! He saved us from our sins and gives us eternal life as a free gift (Eph. 2:8,9). Let’s tell others of His love and forgiveness!

Family Shield Development Projects You Can Pray for and Support
A Development Director. Raising funds to grow the ministry is critical to our future. We will hire a successful and experienced part-time Development Director. Plans include expanding it to a full-time position after two years of successful experience. Your gift of $5,000, $2,000, $1,000 or $500 will make this possible.
Mentoring-Missionary Expansion. Our current mentoring-missionary services are limited due to time restraints of FSM employees. The new expanded services will have an employee dedicated to the mentoring ministry, which will include weekly telephone or Zoom calls. Through our mentoring services, we build positive-trusting relationships and pray with and for the people we serve. Many are unchurched or do not know Christ. We also use Christ-centered resources (LCMS and FSM podcast, Bible studies, media, and print resources) to help them come to know Christ and grow in faith. Your gift of $5,000, $2,000, $1,000, $500 or $250 will make this possible.
Family Shield Radio Program and Podcast. The radio program, aired on 55 stations, and our podcast allow us to reach more than 850,000 people each week with the law & gospel. Ten to fifteen percent of our listeners are unchurched. Funds needed annually, not currently covered by current sponsors and supporters, are $7,000. Your gift of $1,000, $500 or $100 makes this outreach possible.
The Counter Cult Ministry (CCM). The Family Shield Counter Cult Ministry (CCM) is reaching out through several private Facebook pages designed to reach and equip ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses and ex-Mormons. We also equip Christians (often family members of JW & Mormons) to share God’s love and the gospel with Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons. Funds needed annually to support the CCM are $6,500. Your gift of $1,000, $500, $250 or $100 helps us equip and mentor individuals and their families.
