My name is Mark Femmel in St. Louis and I am blessed to have a conversation with somebody who has written the book that I wish I could give to myself as a kid. This is from Concordia publishing house and it is a journey through church history. Christa Petzold has written this book and is a tremendous gift of just short bedtime stories, or reading it in the car stories. It really showcases the people who have come before us that have handed down the faith to us telling us and raising us in the faith to say, that Bible, the word that it says, it changes everything. And she also even goes into sort of the history of our our worship service. So if you’ve ever wondered why we are the way we are, where we got it, and how it got here, Christa’s book is just the answer to all that. Plus, it’s fun to read. And it’s designed for little kiddos, so if you are a five year old or a 50 year old, this book is gonna keep you engaged and make you a lot hungrier for um, just the treasures that people have laid down before.
