The Disciple Dilemma: Rethinking and Reforming How The Church Does Discipleship

The Disciple Dilemma: Rethinking and Reforming How The Church Does DiscipleshipWelcome back to Family Shield Ministries folks. I’m Mark Femmel, pastor in St Louis, and with Family Feud Ministries. I got an exciting opportunity. I got an opportunity to get my hands on a book by Dennis Allen called The Disciple Dilemma, and it is the answer to prayers and all the things that the church can do better; it’s something that I’ve been struggling with. Can Christians thrive just showing up for church on Sunday morning; just an hour on Sunday morning? We’ve been doing it a long time, and we’re still here. So it must not be broke, so let’s not fix it. Today the reason why I’m excited about this is Dennis Allen is going to talk to us about what if it were more than just one hour on Sunday? What would the church be, and more importantly, what would your family be if they had more than just an hour on Sunday morning, together or separate, however your church is doing it. It’s that and more. I’d hate for your family, I’d hate for you, or the people depending on you to miss out on more when it’s actually better.
