As a Recognized Service Organization of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Family Shield Ministries (FSM) will work in collaboration with other LCMS organizations that are gospel motivated, to fulfill our mission and vision. We will also hold to the true and changeless Word of God. We will guide our activities as an organization in accordance with the following Christian beliefs and values:

STATEMENT OF FAITH
Family Shield Ministries holds the following beliefs:
- The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
- The Trinity is one God revealed in three distinct persons; God the Father, the Creator; Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Redeemer; and the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and was born of the virgin Mary.
- Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of all people through his suffering and death.
- He was raised to life bodily on the third day.
- We have been saved by grace through faith.
- Those who believe in Christ as their Savior receive eternal life in heaven and those who reject Christ receive everlasting punishment.
