Merry Christmas!

Dear Family Shield friend,

Thank you for your prayers and support of Family Shield Ministries. We are thankful for you! And we are thankful that we can share the message of God’s love through Christ with people that don’t yet know Him and equip Christians to tell others about His love for us. It’s because of your partnership with us that we can share the gospel on the Family Shield radio program and podcast and through our other educational and evangelism services. Our services now include the Faith Family Reunion Ministry. This ministry is devoted to serving Prodigal Parents.

The Bible tells us more about our Savior and what He has done for us by suffering in our place so we can have forgiveness and eternal life as a gift. In John 1:1 we read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus is the Word and He is God. In John 1:3 the Bible tells us that all things came into being by Him. And John 1:14 tell us, “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.” Jesus is true God and true man! We call this His dual nature. This Biblical teaching is difficult to comprehend, but true! Continue to grow in His Word! Family Shield Ministries interacts with many individuals who contact us, that attend our seminars and Bible studies, request prayer, and that listen to our weekly radio program and podcast. Ron, an 85-year-old widower, called our Response Center to ask us for resources that would help him witness more effectively to a 90-year-old Jehovah’s Witness woman. She and Ron have been talking by phone for several years. We sent him complementary resources and prayed with him. Please join us in praying for Ron and his friend. Pray her eyes will be opened to the truth of God’s Word.

So many Prodigal Parents deal with heartache and pain as their adult children stop attending church or reject the faith. We invite you to pray for Michael who was raised in the faith by his parents but no longer believes in God. His children have no faith. This is very difficult for his mother, who is a widow. She is a faithful believer in Christ, active in her church, studies God’s Word and prays for her son and grandchildren.
